As you probably know by now, the weekend of the 15th April was the annual Coast to Coast challenge.This consisted of 80 teams from around Cornwall and the South West walking from Fowey to Padstow in either one or two days.The weather on the Saturday was absolutely ideal for walking, sunny and just the right temperature, whereas on the Sunday it was diabolical, windy, foggy and of course to top it off … yes you guessed it, rain (or the Cornish sunshine).Our best result was when one of the Mid Cornwall Explorer teams was the first team to cross the finish line at Padstow and third overall.I would like to thank all of the administration staff that made it possible and know that all of the teams that participated done really well, and are looking forward to the walk next year.
